Indigenous Cultural Heritage Collection
This website was initially created in 2023-2024. The bulk of the initial effort involved photographing the Indigenous Studies collection and consulting with Knowledge Keepers. Under their guidance, we laid out this website in a way that would facilitate searches by people to whom these cultural belongings matter the most. We have included information from our files deemed appropriate and important alongside photographs of each cultural belonging but have left out descriptions or explanations of the belongings. It is our hope that as we make more connections with Indigenous peoples and communities and reconnect these belongings, we can invite them to work with us to write these descriptions and grow the website. If you would like to know more or view one of these belongings in person, please contact the Curator of Indigenous Cultural Heritage.

Regina Trades & Skills Centre
With good entry level skilled labourers being in demand due to retirements and labour shortages, the demand for new workers is growing. Yet, most employers don't have the time or resources to recruit or train new staff themselves. Programs at the larger technical institutes can be lengthy or financially out of reach. In the case of apprenticeship, a job in the trades is required before you can be indentured.
So, how do employers find qualified people and how do YOU get your boot in the door? RTSC, of course!
